MOJO343 - Happy Birthday with Label Love

I liked this card size and sketch so much, I decided to create another one using the same DSP Afternoon Picnic along with the MOJO343 sketch .

Here is my card:
After I finished this card, I realized that it's was a little smaller in length than my previous card. This one measures (3.5" x 5.25"), but I focused on selecting another stamp set so I can mail it out without much trouble. Therefore I used another stamp set for the sentiment.

This one is called Label Love and I used the matching punch. I also, used Stampin Dimensionals to pop it up. Colors used were Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, So Saffron, Crumb Cake, and Whisper White. Again, used the same layout, same paper, but got a different look as you can see from my previous post. Have fun and don't forget to check out the sketches over at Mojo Monday.

MOJO343 - Thank-you with Itty Bitty Banners

Another week and another Sunday for me creating another card. Actually, I created two cards using the MOJO343 sketch over at Mojo Monday designed by Julee Tilman. Tall & Skinny

Here is my first card: (3.5" x 5.5")
Once again, using Afternoon Picnic DSP, but with different print patterns and color combination. This one has Crumb Cake, Island Indigo, Pool Party, and Whisper White cardstock.

Created this flower long ago using the Fancy Flower punch and found it as I was searching for something. Therefore, thought it was perfect to use on this card. Added several basic pearls and cut a couple of leaves using the Besty's Blossom stamp set using Pear Pizzazz cardstock and Old Olive ink. Sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Banners. Second card is on another post.

PPA201 - Blooming With Kindness

I missed last week's celebration over at the Pals Paper Arts where they celebrated their 200th challenge, so instead of beating myself up for it, I figured to get this week's darling sketch challenge, PPA201 a try.

Here is my card:
I tried out a different color combination for this card compared to what I normally use, which includes Whisper White, Pool Party, So Saffron, and Wisteria Wonder which I really like after putting it together. Also, using more of this cute DSP, Afternoon Picnic.

This big beautiful flower came from the stamp set: Blooming with Kindness where it gave me an opportunity to mix up my colors. Here is what I did....first inked up my stamp using More Mustard and than I grabbed a sponge dauber and applied in different areas using Coastal Cabana and than used my Pear Pizzazz marker for the steam. Later, I huffed on it and stamped it down.

Yes, it's Coastal Cabana although you don't see the blue since mixing the 2 colors create a different color. At the end, I used some yellow chalk and applied on top using a sponge dauber as well. Stampin Dimensionals once again came in handy to pop up the center stage and basic rhinestones on opposite corners. Sentiment is from set Wetlands.

MOJO342 - Thank You For You

Finally getting back into the swing and so happy to create, so I thought I would start with getting back to my regular Sunday posting of my Mojo Monday. This one is based on the MOJO342 over at Mojo Monday designed by Julee Tilman.

Also, I wanted to say "Thank you for all those that have stayed with me as a follower and who subscribe to my blog while I've been in recovery of my operation for me to get back on track again so I will be putting together a blog candy for a chance to win a surprise within this upcoming week". In the meantime....

Here is my card:
As I was looking through my stash of papers, I came across this cute DSP Afternoon Picnic and couldn't understand why I haven't used it, so I went to work. For the base, I used Crumb Cake and went on to use Wisteria Wonder cardstock which I embossed with Needlepoint Border and Adorning Accents Edgelits.

Can you tell what I used here? Well I used Secret Garden to create this cute flowers using Calypso Coral and matching dies. Also, used the paper piercing tool to add a little more decor. Hard to see, but also did some fussy cutting on the flower to create some dimension and used Stampin Up Dimensionals in between. Sentiment came from the stamp set: Four You using Early Espresso ink. What do you think of today's card?

MOJO 331 & PPA190 - Hearts A Flutter

Sorry for not posting lately, but I had an operation on my upper right shoulder and thus unable to make any cards nor post for awhile since I couldn't use my right arm after the operation. Still recovering but now able to manage creating a card with some help from my Mom and die cutting on the big shot, but she loves using it so no problem there.

Again, my arm is still recovering and limited on how far I can move it, so please bear with me while I recover back to 100%. Actually, my Mom is helping me type while I'm dictating to her, since it's hurting quite a bit now.
The card is using the MOJO 331 sketch along with the Pals Paper Arts color challenge PPA190 which they are having this week. It's been awhile since I used this set: Hearts A Flutter and matching dies and so fun to fill this card with hearts and glitter.

The colors are from the color challenge, Rose Red, Blushing Bride, and basic Gray. Yes, I added a couple of hearts using silver glitter cardstock. Here is a close up of all the sweet hearts. Used Stampin Dimensionals in between the hearts to pop them up. For the sentiment, I used the stamp set: Itty Bitty Banners and Bitty Banners framelits. Final touch was adding some basic pearls.

Can't wait to work on some projects and cards from the Sale A Bration booklet and Newest Spring catalog "Celebrate the Everyday." If you need a hard copy of the catalog and or Sale A Bration booklet, please email me and I will mail them out to you. Don't want anyone to miss out on a one of Stampin Up biggest sale of the year!!
