    PPA161 - Mosaic Madness

The Pals Paper Arts is having a sketch challenge created by the talented Margaret Moody, PPA161 and I wanted to give it a try. If you would like to see all the wonderful inspirations, click here to go directly to the challenge. The most important thing is to have fun with any challenge.

This was a fun card, full of 3/4" Chevron New Ribbon in the following colors: Crushed Curry, Wisteria Wonder, Pumkin Pie, and Pear Pizzazz. Cardstock for the center 3x3 is Early Espresso. I've been wanting to make something with this cute stamp set: Mosaic Madness and this was a perfect sketch to try it out.

For the little corner piece, I used the set: A Round Array and stamped it in Early Espresso. Also used some Baker's Twine and Stampin Dimenionals to pop up the Mosaics. Card size is 5x5. Hope you enjoy and have fun creating!!!

MOJO298 - A Birthday Wish

Another week at Mojo Monday, MOJO298 although today is Sunday, last day to link up, I was able to get it done and posted for my weekly goal, so I'm excited. This week's sketch designed by Julee Tilman. You can click here to view the wonderful cards already made with this sketch.

Here is my card:
I couldn't resist but to try another card using the Secret Garden stamp set and my favorite DSP Gingham Garden. Cardstock is Whisper White, Crumb Cake, and Island Indigo. Ribbon: 1/4" Stitched Daffodil Delight

For the sentiment, I used the new stamp set: Label Love which comes as a bundle set with matching punch to save an extra 15% but can be bought seperately also. To acheive the 2 colors, I reached for my markers, Melon Mambo and Island Indigo and than stamped down.

For the flower, I once again stamped it down on DSP twice and once on Island Indigo cardstock. Did some fussy cut and layered them with Stampin Up Dimensionals. Top it off with a basic pearl. Leaves were done using Pear Pizzaz ink and the matching framelits. Hope you enjoy and have fun creating.

MOJO297 Secret Garden and Gingham Garden

Sorry for not posting more regular, but I have had some family issues that's taken me away from blogging after getting back into it, but luckily my son, who is so dear and important to me is now doing much better after several trips to urgent care and hospitals for several weeks. It's a nightmare to see your little one suffer night and day with breathing problems.

Currently he is still under breathing treatments 3 times a day, but doing much better. They are trying a new medication to help prevent flare-ups. None the less, today I'm able to post up a card for the MOJO297 over at Mojo Monday. I do have some other cards and a cute project, which needs posting so will get that up as soon as I can.

So with the new catalog in place, here is a new card with some cute items.

Love this paper, Gingham Garden and finally got a chance to use my new stamp set: Secret Garden. Colors are Island Indigo, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight. The sentiment comes from the set: Bring on the Cake.

Stamped the big flower directly onto the DSP and once again stamped it onto Island Indigo cardstock, fuzzy cut the little flower in the center and added a little basic rhinestone. Used Stampin Dimensionals in between the flower to pop it up more. Hope you enjoy and will be working to post at least weekly and get my other cards posted that I have completed already.
