PPA123 - Puttin' on the Ritz - Delightful Decorations with Frostwood Lodge

Another weekly challenge at the Pals Paper Arts website. This week's challenge is Putting on the Ritz and a chance to win some blog candy. Whether you choose to add a little or add a lot, show us the sparkle, shine, or decoration that makes your project just a little bit fancier.  The design team has created some beautiful cards to get you started.

It's easy to join the fun by clicking here to go directly to the challenge and link up your card. Here is mine below....
Love this set, Delightful Decorations, so to dress it up, I first embossed the little flower images onto the crumb cake cardstock with white embossing powder and heat set it.  But before that, I scored the cardstock into 1" squares for a decorative look.

Than I proceeded to stamp one of the ornaments in 3 different colors, Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, and Pretty in Pink. Than decided to add a little glimmer onto the ornaments by using the Northern Frost Decorative Strip and the silver glimmer paper. Added pearls in the form of a string on each ornament and in addition added some glue on top of the string to add some dazzling diamond glitter to add more sparkle to the card.

Here is a close up of one of the snowflakes from the Northen Frost Decorative Strip that was added to 2 of the ornaments. Added some waxy flax for the little bows on each ornament.

To create the middle ornament, I cut out 6 ornaments with the matching punch, scored each one in the middle and glued them together. Love how it pops out to you. The sentiment comes from the stamp set:Cotempo Christmas in Soft Suede ink. I did use stampin dimensionals under the Marina Mist ornament along with the Pretty in Pink ornament.
    Hope you enjoy!!
