Mojo Monday 234 - Twitterpated and Blossom Party

Another week at Mojo Monday, MOJO234, with a sketch design by Julee Tilman. This week, two choices, either round or square. I should call mine Mojo Sunday since its always appears to be the weekend already by the time my card is up. Either way, it's always fun to have a new sketch to work off of.

If you would like to joinclick here to go directly to the challenge. Here is my card below....
Still working with this gorgeous DSP called Twitterpated that has such a beautiful array of patterned paper and still available in the Mini Occassions Catalog through April 30, 2012.

Here is a close up of the sentiment in Early Espresso, one of my favorite colors to work with and used the Petite Pairs stamp set for the sentiment. The Modern Label punch was used to correct a boo boo per say behind the square mat with Blushing Bride and also added a nice color contrast.

As for the other color of cardstock that was used, it's another favorite color of mine, Marina Mist along with the Curly Label Punch.

As for the flower, the Blossom Party Die was used to create it. Fast and simple and always love to be able to layer it. Colors used were Riding Hood Red, DSP, and Blushing Bride.

Almost forgot, 1/2" Stitched Poly Ribbon in Pear Pizzazz was also added to give it a little more contrast along with Basic Pearls.
Hope you enjoy!!

Liebster Blog Award

I was so excited and felt over joyed when I read my email, which was a comment left on my blog from Cynthia Millan over at Stamp with Cynthia who presented me with my very first blog award.  Please make sure to check out her blog and see all the wonderful ideas she has.

Also, while your there, check out the super cute easter card created with punch art that she recently made. It's so cute!!! along with all of her other beautiful artwork.

She actually awarded it to me a week ago, but it took me until now to narrow down all of the blogs I love to look at, which than lead me to other terrific blogs. So now I finally get a chance to thank Cynthia for the award and pass it on.

For those of you who want to know:
"Liebster" is German for "Dearest". The award is a "Share the love arrangement", given to inspirational bloggers with less than 200 followers, to bring attention to their blog, and increase their following!  I got to pick 5 more recipients whose blogs I think you would enjoy.  Pop over to see what they've done...and become a Follower.

Here's the to do list for any of the Liebster Blog Award recipients.

1. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award.
(Thanks again Cynthia)

2. Link back to the blogger who presented you the award.
(Cynthia at Stamp with Cynthia)

3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.
(See the pretty award on my sidebar!)

4. Present the Award to 5 other deserving bloggers with less than 200 followers.
(See the 5 below)

5. Let them know they have been chosen by leaving a comment on their blog.
(I suggest you visit their sites - you're going to love their blogs)

With so many beautiful creative blogs out there, the hardest part of receiving this award was knowing I could only nominate 5 other bloggers to pass it on to.  But I finally narrowed it down.  So here are my picks:

1)  Christy Q. at Schnauzer Crafts Creations
2)  Paula at Stampin With Paula
3)  Connie at Constantly Stamping
4)  Jen  at I Create
5)  Janet at Paper Cards & Stamps

Congratulations!! to these very talented bloggers! I know that you will enjoy all five of these blogs, as each site will brighten your day in her own special way. Now, it's time for me to hop over to their blogs and leave them a message letting them know that they were awarded the Liebster Award!

Once again, thank-you Cynthia!! I'm honored that you choose me along with five other blogger to receive this award. I really appreciate it and it motivates me even more to keep creating and sharing!!
