PPA 85 Sketch Challenge

As you can see, I'm trying to catch up on postings, since I did this back in March for the PPA 85 Sketch Challenge. The sketch was designed by: Margaret Moody who is part of the design team.

It's a wonderful site to go to, which comes up with weekly sketches and organized by the Pals Paper Arts. If you would like to participate in the weekly challenge, click here to see everyone's latest creation or click on the logo which is located on the right hand side view bar.

Easter Card - using Kim Score's Sliding Pop Up Tutorial

It was Easter Time and I wanted to find something different to do when I came across a cute tutorial made by Kim Score and figured "oh that's cute...I have to try it".

Therefore, here is what I came up with for Easter based on her step by step tutorial for the Sliding Pop Up Card. She is amazing in her creations.

If you would like to see the tutorial you can click here to view it on You Tube.

Again, she is amazing and I just love her website called Paper Punch Addiction which can be viewed by clicking here or by clicking on her logo on the right side view bar.

For the Easter Bunny, I used:
  • Ears - (2) large ovals and (2) small ovals
  • Head - 1 3/8" circle Punch
  • Eyes and Nose - (3) circle punches from the Owl Punch
  • Cheeks - (2) 5/8" circle punch
  • Body - 1 3/4" circle punch
  • Feet - (2) large ovals and (2) small ovals

Cupcake Birthday - Ice Cream Parlor

This was a fun and fast card to make using the Ice Cream Parlor
Designer Series Paper & Quick Accents Pack

Got to use one of the new punches that came out in the Spring Mini Catalog
called: Build a Cupcake
along with the matching
stamp set called:
Create A Cupcake

In addition, I used:
  • 2 1/4 circle Punch
  • Modern Label Punch (119849)
  • Word Window Punch (119857)
  • Pacific Point Ink (111837)
  • Pacific Point Cardstock (111350)
The scallop circle was a quick accent sticker from the Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper Set

Also, the scallop borders and blue strip across were also from the quick accent pack.

Hope you Enjoy!!
