FMS42 & PPA138 - Just Believe & Polka Dot Parade

The Pals Paper Arts is having a color challenge this week, PPA138 and over at Freshly Made Sketches they had a cute sketch designed by Jennifer Timko that I wanted to try out.

Here is mine: 

Finally opened the new DSP paper called: Polka Dot Parade and used the Daffodil Delight one. The great thing was being able to use both sides of patterns on this card.

Love this stamp set: Just Believe which is so versatile and this color combination is terrific for any occassion.

Here you can see I used the Stripes embossing folder and a close up picture of the both patterns of this cute DSP. Ribbon used was the new 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon in Whisper White.

Stampin Dimensionals were used under the Whisper White cardstock and under the Modern Label Punch for the sentiment to stand out more. Basic Pearls were added in the end to give this card a final touch. Hope you enjoy and have fun creating!!

Thank-You with Just Believe and Timeless Portrait; Winner Announced

Needed to come up with a thank-you card and decided to use DSP Timeless Portait along with the stamp set: Just Believe. I love this set!! It has such a variety of stamp images and sentiments.

I've been having contractions throughout the day and sitting was not an option, so I'm just now getting around to selecting the winner as mentioned in the previous post for today's Sunday Winner.

Used Cherry Cobbler ink along with the Word Window Punch and Modern Label Punch.

For some reason, as much as I take a photo of this card, the Soft Suede ink is not showing up as well for the stamped image, so I apologize. I used the Top Note Die and cut it half using Island Indigo cardstock and placed 3 little punched flowers from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack using Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

Last but not least, added some basic pearls to finish it off. Hope you enjoy!!

Mojo Monday195 - Love Letter and Just Believe

Here is this week's challenge at Mojo Monday (MOJO 195) with a sketch design by Debbie Carriere 

Can you believe these are retiring... the little Embosslits Dies called Simple Flower and Cherry Blossom  flowers. They are so cute and perfectly embossed little flowers, as I would call them.  The  good news is they are on sale at 40% off and only $7.17 each while supplies last.

The last chance lists can be found here for all items now retiring or while supplies last, so if you don't have these little guys than now is the time to buy.

I used the Circle Scissor Plus to cut out a 2 1/2" circle as my main focal point (middle)....this little thing is great....it can cut out so many variations of circles and so many sizes. Also, I added a corduroy button from the Cherry Cobbler just to give it a little color on top, but otherwise stuck to more neutral and stuble colors. Finally, added little Rhinestones around the center to add some sparkle.

Baby News: I'm getting bigger and bigger everyday now or at least it seems like that. This is the period where the baby is putting on weight....at least that's what I keep telling myself to keep myself sane when I'm expanding outward. I do watch what I eat and only limit myself on a bite or two of sweets...one of my favorites and hard to resist. 

Even though I want to eat more, I found out that you only need to add an extra 300 calories a day when your pregnant and as you know 300 calories is nothing....one muffin at least from Costco can be that.
