Mojo Monday 283 - Fabulous Florets & Print Poetry

Another week at Mojo Monday, MOJO283. This week's sketch designed by Carole Burrage and since it's the beggining of the month, it's contest week where you have a chance to win some Verse Stamps up to 7 winners max. Click here to go directly to the challenge.

Most importantly, have fun with the sketch. I was glad myself to work on a card and with this cute sketch. Here is mine below: 

Wanted to try out some new items from the spring catalog especially this new embossing folder called Honeycomb and once again had to pull out this cute stack of DSP called Print Poetry. It has such a variety of cute papers in the stack.

I'll tell you that I got stuck on which stamp set to use and in the end pulled out: Fabulous Florets and for the sentiment: Lacy & Lovely since I love the font so much. For the flowers, I used Raspberry Ripple directly onto Daffodil Delight cardstock and fuzzy cut.

For the leaves, Lucky Limeade matched up very well with this DSP and as you can see I used several basic rhinestones to add an extra touch.

Last but not least, added some new ribbon from the spring catalog called: Natural 7/16" Trim. For cardstock, I used Crumb Cake, Midnight Muse, and of course Whisper White. Hope you enjoy and have fun creating!!

Mojo Monday 275 - Friendship Preserves & Print Poetry

This is such a wonderful sketch as always designed by Julee Tilman and terrific inspiration with the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO275), but still having alot of computer issues with posting, even using it for regular sufing and missed the deadline, but never to late to get it up anyways. So here is my card....better late than never.

This card has several new items from the Spring Catalog as you can see. The only thing not in the spring catalog is the stamp set I used called: Friendship Preserves, but it's carry over from the Holiday catalog and still available along with matching framelits. 

Loving this new paper called Print Poetry with such a variety to choose from. Here I selected 3 DSP papers and combined them with Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla Cardstock along with Midnight Muse for color. Also such cute new ribbon, 7/16" Natural Trim and oh ......what about that flower.

It also comes from the new spring catalog, 5/8" Flower Trim, one of my favorite ribbons. Basically cut one flower or layer it across a project  I'm sure you will love it.

Last but not least, added some paper piercing to decorate it a little more using the pack essentials along with Stampin Dimensionals under the square and under the framelit piece. Hope you enjoy and have fun creating!!
