MOJO 331 & PPA190 - Hearts A Flutter

Sorry for not posting lately, but I had an operation on my upper right shoulder and thus unable to make any cards nor post for awhile since I couldn't use my right arm after the operation. Still recovering but now able to manage creating a card with some help from my Mom and die cutting on the big shot, but she loves using it so no problem there.

Again, my arm is still recovering and limited on how far I can move it, so please bear with me while I recover back to 100%. Actually, my Mom is helping me type while I'm dictating to her, since it's hurting quite a bit now.
The card is using the MOJO 331 sketch along with the Pals Paper Arts color challenge PPA190 which they are having this week. It's been awhile since I used this set: Hearts A Flutter and matching dies and so fun to fill this card with hearts and glitter.

The colors are from the color challenge, Rose Red, Blushing Bride, and basic Gray. Yes, I added a couple of hearts using silver glitter cardstock. Here is a close up of all the sweet hearts. Used Stampin Dimensionals in between the hearts to pop them up. For the sentiment, I used the stamp set: Itty Bitty Banners and Bitty Banners framelits. Final touch was adding some basic pearls.

Can't wait to work on some projects and cards from the Sale A Bration booklet and Newest Spring catalog "Celebrate the Everyday." If you need a hard copy of the catalog and or Sale A Bration booklet, please email me and I will mail them out to you. Don't want anyone to miss out on a one of Stampin Up biggest sale of the year!!

PPA150 - Hearts A Flutter With Some Color

Back to fun and not only with the new Spring Mini Catalog, but the Pals Paper Arts is having a color challenge and there are wonderful inspirations by the Design Team, PPA150. There is still time to play, so click here to join the fun and see the new look they have this year. It looks terrific!! Most importantly have fun with it.

For me it's nice to have a computer at home to work on again after a few months of not having one, although it's still has alot of issues after a virus attacked it and I still think it's partly there (the virus) but will see. Back to the card on hand.

Here is mine below:
This is such a cute set and one of my favorites. Don't you love the size of the hearts from this new set, Hearts a Flutter? Better yet, it comes with matching framelits and has a bundle deal.

Each heart is popped up with my favorite....Stampin Dimensionals. Behind it, the scalloped square punch was used along with Basic Grey DSP. To acheive this look of the background, adhere all of your pieces down first (minus your pop up items) and than take any embossing folder, this one is (square lattice) and run it through the Big Shot.

Couldn't resist but to make this flower again, it uses the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, which I believe is still available through the Clearance Rack along with using the small heart punch (punched 4). Each layer of this flower has stampin dimensionals. Top it off with a Basic Pearl. A little sponging color also adds an extra touch.

Almost forgot, used the Finishing Touches Edgelits for a decorated look towards the bottom of the card. Sentiment comes from the set: Loving Thoughts. Hope you enjoy and have fun creating!!!
