PPA153 - Sketch Challenge

The Pals Paper Arts is having a sketch challenge created by the talented Margaret Moody, PPA153 and I wanted to give it a try. If you would like to see all the wonderful inspirations, click here to go directly to the challenge. The most important thing is to have fun with any challenge.

 

Here is mine below:

Love these colors together!! The DSP comes from the Sale-A-Bration catalog called Sycamore Street and I combined it with Island Indigo cardstock.

 

Here are a few more items from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. The sentiment comes from the set: Bloomin' Marvelous and the cute little ribbon is also another item in the catalog. Here I used one of the die cuts from the Hearts A Flutter Framelits to use for the sentiment piece.

For the flower, I started with a 2 3/8" Scallop Circle in Island Indigo as my base. Than created a rosette to add on top, but before putting the rosette together, I used the Lace Ribbon Border (retired) to add some decor to it. Finally, added a basic pearl to top it off.

Last but not least, Stampin Dimensionals were used under the Scallop Circle. So happy I had the chance to create something. The sketch was a perfect opportunity to use my new crafting supplies. Hope you enjoy and have fun creating!!
