Another week at the The Paper Players. The Challenge is Birthdays, keyword PP62 with guest designer Sandra Corner and they are welcoming 2 new members Julie Marshall and Tara Bilbao to the team. The design team has created some beautiful cards to get everyone started. To join, click here to go directly to the challenge.
Here is mine
For the little hat on the Owl, I punched it out using the star punch which is now retired and glued it on top of Wild Wasabi, than cut enough around it to use as a mat for the little hat. I used the same Owl punch for the 4 circles in 4 different colors. Marina Mist, Poppy Parade, Wild Wasabi, and Calypso Coral.
I took a black marker and ruler to draw a stitch look around the whisper white cardstock to make the Owl the focus and used stampin up dimensionals to pop the card up under the Poppy Parade square and under the owl itself. Hope you Enjoy!!!
