Another week at Mojo Monday, MOJO314 designed by the talented Julee Tilman and for me it's my Sunday when I get a chance to create and post my MOJO for the week. Since it's the first Monday of the month, it's also contest week and a chance to win a Verve stamp set of your choice, so out come the paper and stamps to create a new card based on this cute sketch.
I've had this beautiful DSP paper, Venetian Romance hidden and now finally got a chance to have some fun with it. So many color combinations went through my head since it has several terrific colors you can combine with and finally decided on Pistachio Pudding and Island Indigo.
Love this Stylish Stripes embossing folder from the holiday catalog for adding some texture to the background.
This sentiment comes from the Best of Greetings and was stamped using Early Espresso along with the die cut from the new Circle Card Thinlits. For matting the sentiment, the Decorative Label Punch came in very handy and perfect size for it. Added some 3/4" Chevron Ribbon in Calypso Coral.
I just had to pull out this cute stamp set: Flower Shop and add one flower to this card along with Stampin Dimensional under it to pop it up. Actually, the entire card has tons of Dimensionals underneath each layer starting from the mat base.
Also, used Calypso Coral marker to color some of the areas in the flower and to finish the center, Dazzling Details were added to get it some glitter and shine. What do you think of today's card? If you would like to join the fun, click here to go directly to the challenge.
