Thank you for joining us for the July Pals Blog Hop to celebrate the 2013-15 In Colors! Are you ready to see wonderful creations made with Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush, Baked Brown Sugar and Coastal Cabana? We all love to make these projects, we hope you enjoy viewing them.
You should have just left stop number 16 on the Pals Hop - Diane Roberts at Score at Four and a Quarter . If so, you are in the right spot. If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.
Here is mine below:
When looking for a sketch, I found this cute one over at Jen's website, The Deconstructed Sketch, sketch 105. The only thing I left out was the top ribbon and little tag since I forgot after I pieced everything together already, but I think it worked out okay.
Hard to see maybe but used the Stripes embossing folder as my base using Baked Brown Sugar along with the Scallop Trim Border in Whisper White. The sentiment comes from the hostess set: Simply Sketched. Added some basic pearls in the center to finish it off.
Next is a little Candy Treat Card
I previously made one of these (small version), but wanted to re-create something card size (4.25" x 5.5") and love the bigger version. The sentiment comes from the set: Fabulous Phrases.
When you open the card and pull the little slider on the right hand side, the candy will come out without tearing up the front design. Here you can see the inside of the card. The ticket piece was from the set: That's a Ticket using Strawberry Slush ink along with the Ticket Duo Builder punch.
Cardstock used was Baked Brown Sugar and the Chevron embossing folder for the base. The center portion of the card has the new in-color Coastal Cabana and the new in-color DSP.
Little flower is from the set: Papillon Potpourri along with new 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim in Strawberry Slush around the Circle Treat Cups and 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon in Whisper White in the middle.
The next stop is Kari Linder at Stampin' Essentials, stop number 18 on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting – and I hope to see you next month!
