Tri Shutter with Love Letter and Directions

Here is another Tri-Shutter Card using DSP called: Love Letter and stamp set: With All My Love. Added step by step directions so you can make one too. Here we go.

    Step 1
    Cut any piece of cardstock ( 5 ½” x 12")

Step 2Use your Martha Stewart , Scor-Pal, or any other tool used to score.
(Right side of cardstock facing up towards you on the top)

Step 3 - Turn cardstock (length wise)
Measure  in 1 ½” starting at the  2” score mark  and than again at the 10” score mark (Do this on both sides lengthwise)

Step 4 - (Hint): Place your ruler at each mark (2” and 10” score mark) and than make a slit between the 2 marked areas using a craft knife and craft mat (Hold your ruler firm)……Repeat on the other side….see picture below

Step 5 - Fold card as pictured below (2 views points)...that's where your scores marks that you did in the begining come in handy for folding

    Step 6
(Cardstock) – Adhere all pieces to the card base
    Cut out (2) 1 ¾” x 5 ¼” cardstock for left and right side
Cut out  (2) 1 ¾” x 2 ¼” cardstock for left middle and right middle sides
Cut out (2) 3 ¾” x 1 ¼” cardstock for top middle and bottom middle
    Cut out (1) 3 ¾” x 2 ¼” cardstock or DSP for the middle

    Step 7

(DSP – Designer Series Paper) Adhere all DSP to the card stock
    Cut out (2) 1 ½” x 5” for left and right side
Cut out (2) 1 ½” x  2” for left middle and right middle sides
    Cut out (2) 1 1/8” x 3 5/8” for top middle and bottom middle
    Cut out (4) 1 ¼” x  1 ¾” for the four quadrants

    Step 8 -
Embellish as you want now that the base card is done.......I used the stamp set: With All my love to finish mine up....See pictures below (Trust me when I say that these can be addicting.....you do one and you will want to do another one)......Try it!!!

In the soon future, I will have this up on my sidebar as free directions, but need to see what's the best form, using Word Doc, which I currently have on my computer or see if I can convert it to PDF.

    Enjoy!!!
